Helicopter Twirls Wildly into Palm Groves at Well-Known California Shoreline
An aircraft soaring over a popular California shoreline unexpectedly commenced twirling out of control, ultimately descending rapidly and smashing into a line of palm groves as spectators looked on.
Videos shared on the internet capture the chopper starting to spin over Huntington Beach then descending towards the border of the beach, where it becomes wedged between palms and a set of stairs adjacent to the Pacific Coast highway.
Rescue Operation Information
The Huntington Beach fire department reported five persons were transported to a medical facility including two who were in the helicopter and were ârescued from the debrisâ after the incident on the weekend.
Three individuals on the street were injured. Specifics on their injuries were not immediately available.
The reason for the accident was not yet disclosed.
